Cogges Manor Farm

Everyone who visits Cogges for the first time is bowled over by its beauty. The Cotswold stone farm buildings grouped around the farmyard and the manor house beyond provide a tranquil setting that belies its proximity to Witney’s Cogges Manorbustling town centre.

This year, the Norman figure-of-eight moat has been exposed revealing two distinct islands to explore. The first is now the setting for an adventure play area, based around the site of the original manor house, for children of all ages to enjoy. Follow the trail through the woods
on the second island, clamber over and under the fallen trees, build a den or look out for the badgers, squirrels, deer and bats that live there.

We have created a fun soft play area in one of our stunning barns, complete with a ‘mini Cogges’, where young children can play whatever the weather. The entrance courtyard has been refurbished, creating a welcoming space by the Café at Cogges to take in the beautiful surroundings.
We hope you enjoy the new activities we have introduced this year. Cogges is a place for everyone to enjoy.

Come along to special events, festivals, theatre, workshops and school holiday fun for all the family, or take a day trip and have lunch in the Cafe at Cogges.
